   • The update process may take several minutes—do not turn off the player.
   • Once completed, the player will shut down and eject the disc.

3. Finalizing the Update

   • Turn the player back on using the remote.
   • Leave the disc inside for a second, shorter update cycle.
   • The player will shut down again—this is normal.
   • Restart the player, remove the disc, and test an HD DVD to confirm the update was successful.
